RIP keyboards – both physical and virtual. This thing is like Swype on ‘roids.
pretty slick - this may be ipad’s killer app you didn’t know you needed (about to download it now…)
i’ll be using this til the glass falls off if it turns out to be as slick as their promo vid. * crosses fingers *

Unison 2
Is friggin amazing. If you have a mac and use newsgroups, GET. IT. NOW.
The old Unison was a bare-bones app and left me wanting for more, but the new update is just unbelievable. As all Panic apps tend to be, it looks great, the UI is smart, and using it is a pleasure. The best part is that the app handles every single aspect of news-grouping so you never have to jump back and forth between a browser or archive util.
Espresso + Zen Coding
Thinking about trying this combo out. I’ve been happily using Smultron (discontinued) for all my coding needs, but it looks like it may be time to bump up my efficiency a couple notches.
Espresso is an action-packed developer tool that meshes all the different features you’d need throughout the coding process, including project organization, live previews, ftp and an extensible core. Speaking of extensibility, you can add-on Zen Coding (via TEA for Espresso) which should make banging out xhtml layouts a breeze. Meaning, less time to code, more time to play. There’s an article over at Smashing Magazine that should help you get started.
*EDIT
============================================
Holy crap. Espresso with Zen Coding so far is amazing. Just want to put it out there: if you like being efficient and not having to deal with idiotic shortcomings of software you would expect more from - Espresso is money. Played around with it for the past few hours, and I’m converted without ever looking back. God bless, macrabbit.
ZooTool
Awesome web app for collecting inspirational links, videos, images etc. Started using it recently, and it’s probably the easiest way (using their lasso droplet) to collect stuff off the web to be saved/tagged/cataloged. Well designed and intuitive. I hooked this up to Prism and it feels like a centralized inspiration gallery app.
Prism by Mozilla Labs
Similar to how iPhone saves web apps to the home screen, but for your desktop. Pretty awesome if you have a web app you use frequently and want to drop it into your dock or desktop as a launcher.
From the site: Bringing web applications to your Desktop. Prism is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop.
